Description
Around the end of 2020 when I was starting work at BlackBird Interactive I had a deal with them to take a week off a few weeks into my employment so I could do the 7 day fps jam. As I was starting to get a bit weary of doing game jams solo I decided to make a post on the jam community offering to work with a team. I ended up joining a team led by a relatively younger guy named Josh who wanted to make a retro throwback to gold source engine era halflife.
Halflife/goldsource is what I grew up playing as a teenager so it was definitely one of those times where I'm starting to realize the stuff I was super into is considered retro now.
I helped get the game done for the duration of the jam and pitched in during the weeks afterwards. I mostly did level design, art and programming.
I believe the game has continued development somewhat since I moved on from the project.
